1.Provide an opportunity to establish or advance the understanding of different research methods and evidence-based knowledge. 2.Enhance the capability of writing good scientific papers by clarifying the writing process and teach the fundamentals of effective scientific writing of papers. 3.Teach the ethical aspects of research on animals and humans. 4.Teach the principles and methods in the study of the distribution and determinants of diseases in human populations. 5.Teach the basic principles of biostatistics and introduce the applied computed Biostatistics related to research. 6.Develop the ability to critically analyze a scientific study, evaluate the methodology and the validity of the study results, analyze the purpose, questions, or hypotheses that are a logical extension of the rationale, evaluate whether the discussion substantiates the objectives of the study and whether the results can be applied in a clinical decision making or practice. |
